Short person, full length dress?

I want to buy this prom dress from alyce designs: http://www.alycedesigns.com/2010cat/dress.php?id=11146&page=1

I do not know about Alyce designs, but I am 5'3" and have never purchased a long dress that was the right length. If you have a dressmaker or tailor, you could show them the picture and ask how difficult it would be a shorten, if necessary.

You are better off buying dresses made for shorter people.
