Burgundy Prom
What accessories would you recommend to wear with my burgundy prom dress?
I'm ordering this dress for prom:

I'm thinking about wearing gloves with it-what do you think, yes or no? Any color or style recommendations?
I have no idea what kind of shoes to wear, but I know I want some with a relatively high heel (as I'm only 5'1).
Any other accessory, jewelry, or hairstyle advice?

personally, i think that gloves only look good with long dresses... if you want to get gloves, get the dress first and then go to a local "prom" store and try on gloves while wearing the dress to see which ones look best. black would be really sexy with that dress if you do decide on gloves.
You don't want a heel any higher than 4" unless you are used to it.. you don't want to sprain your ankle dancing or getting out of the car! if you go with black gloves, go with black shoes, maybe with some detail near the toes.
If you wear black gloves, you could wear pearl or silver jewelery. Pearl would give that "classy" look.
also remember, that if you have a date, he will probably get you a corsage, so let him know if you want a pin on or a wrist one.
If you have long hair, i recommend loose curls in a low side ponytail. if you have shorter hair, you can curl it and get hairpins to put it in place. you could easily find a pin with a pearl on the end to match the rest of your jewelery. (if you go with pearls of course)
and most importantly.... don't forget that you are human and everyone has imperfections. you're supposed to have fun on prom! so don't worry about it. everyone else will be worrying about it too, and thinking, "God, does she look awesome" when they look at you. so Good Luck!
