Cocktail Lace
Can't wear white to a wedding?
Ok, i have to go to a wedding, and all i have is this one cocktail dress... its very un bride-like, but its still ivory/cream in tone. It has black lace detail, and i'll be wearing a black lace shrug also. Is it ok if i wear it? My instincts tell me yes, but i dont want to get strung up by anyone in the bridal party.

The best approach is that if you think there might even be a CHANCE of something starting a conflict, avoid doing it - therefore, I would say to wear something that definitely would not be a problem, and not something that has the chance to cause a problem, even if it's only a slight chance.
