Jailed socialite Paris Hilton has been released from jail after serving three days of her 23-day sentence after falling ill. The 26-year-old heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban LA on Sunday to serve 23 days for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
The evening before she was jailed, Hilton made a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, where she worked the red carpet in a strapless designer gown.

If you or me were ill in jail, they would laugh at you and you'd be lucky to see a doctor 3 days after you reported you were ill.

We have handled a case in which a girl was in jail with meningitis and nothing was done for her, she didn't even get a Tylenol from the nurse for her headache. We had another girl who hung herself in her cell after having a mental breakdown on her ride to jail. I am sure there are many other stories out there.

If I still lived in LA county I would make sure not to vote for that judge next time his term comes up.
