What is the most you would pay for a prom gown?

It is a prom gown. A dress you would most likely wear only one time...I feel that 300 - 350 is enough. One of my friends bought a gown for prom...it was $475, not including tax!! Is this too much for a one-timer?

Well I paid £175 for my dress which would be hmm $100 ish? I think that is more than enough to be honest.

Who cares how expensive your dress is? As long as you are comfortable in it and feel special

If you do only where it once you could sell it on Ebay?

I was going to sell my dress on Ebay but it's covered in mud from my prom day!
