Is it ok to wear your junior prom dress to senior prom? (urgent)?

I am a senior in high school this year, and I really don't want to spend a lot of money for prom. Our school is kind of lame anyway, and the dances aren't really worth going to because they put things like this together at the last second. Anyway, I have my junior prom dress still, and was wondering you think if it's ok to wear the same dress to senior prom as well? Or am I making a mistake and should buy a new dress?

if you know how to sew, you could modify it slightly, but if not, you can always update your dress with this season's trends, like neon nails or orange lips. as long as you mix at least one new piece, whether it be a necklace, shoes, bag, or jacket, you can totally reinvent the outfit. as far as necklaces go, try a collar necklace, those are really in. you could also try throwing a trapeze jacket over the dress to remake it, as long as the dress is not a trapeze dress, this trend will work.
