What should I wear to a Twilight Prom themed party?

As you might know, the Twilight Prom is a Casino Monte Carlo theme.
My best friend is throwing her birthday party in the prom theme.
I want to wear a dress. but i live in southern texas where its really hot.
I love the betsey johnson dresses but they cost too much.
